Hedge fund mogul Bill Ackman recently announced that he won’t be voting for Joe Biden in the 2024 Presidential election.

Moreover, he is considering voting for President Trump instead.

As the CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, Ackman has openly expressed his disgust at the support for the terrorist group Hamas, particularly among college students, with Harvard University being a notable example.

Ackman’s political perspective has been significantly influenced by his interactions on Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, where he actively engages in discussions.

He attributes these exchanges to offering insights often overlooked by mainstream media.

During a discussion at the TED 2024 conference in Vancouver, Ackman passionately emphasized the significance of free speech and open discourse. He pointed out X as a crucial space where these values are maintained.

“I’m a big fan of X. I think it really is an open free speech platform,” Ackman said per QZ. “I’ve learned a lot, and it’s affected my views, my politics, my insights. And I think it’s one of the few places you can go and have a true free speech platform.”

On Wednesday, Ackman bluntly stated on X, “For anyone who is still confused on the topic, I am not voting for Biden.”

An X user asked Ackman, “First time not voting Democrat in your life? Have you ever voted Republican, Bill Ackman? For all of us confused folk.”

“Yes. I voted for Donald Trump in 2016,” Ackman responded, adding that he had voted for Joe Biden in 2020.

Journalist Laura Loomer asked him when he is going to endorse President Trump, and Ackman responded, “And yes, I am open to voting for Donald Trump.”

He went on to say that he will share who he is voting for when he makes his decision, closer to the election.
