Kamala Harris’s campaign continues its desperate attempt to recruit influencers, most of whom are coming forward and flat-out declining, whether due to disagreements with Harris’s positions or a desire to avoid politics altogether.
And they’re rejecting the money.
Another influencer, Lauren Mochen, recently revealed that the Harris campaign attempted to pay her to promote Harris and the Democrats. Mochen shared that before any collaboration could begin, they wanted to send her a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to sign, which would prevent her from discussing any behind-the-scenes activities or disclosing that she was being paid to make those statements.
While paying for support is nothing new, Mochen sounded the alarm, noting that many in younger generations rely on the influencers they follow for news and opinions.
“I know a lot of people get their views, and their opinions, and their beliefs based off of what their favorite influencers are saying,” Mochen said. “Just know that they might have been paid to say the things they’re saying.”

As Breaking Digest reported last week, the Harris campaign had reached out to popular streamers, including Twitch’s Kai Cenat, who publicly declined their offer and called out the Harris campaign and Secret Service for their harassment. Considering Cenat’s strong following among younger audiences, this incident does not reflect well on Harris.

Kamala is getting rejected by everyone 😂

They saw Trump with Adin Ross… pic.twitter.com/z5Hw3rAcYr
This came in the wake of a viral livestream featuring President Trump and streamer Adin Ross, which had a record-setting 100 million views.
Ross, a streamer on the rival platform Kick, hosted Trump for a fun and engaging session that attracted millions of live viewers. The stream included laughter, jokes, and dancing, and ended with Ross gifting Trump a Rolex watch and a Cybertruck adorned with the iconic photo of Trump raising his fist.
Another popular Twitch streamer, FaZe Ronaldo, later revealed that Kamala Harris and her campaign allegedly reached out to him and his team for a potential livestream collaboration, which he publicly blasted them for.
In a blunt statement, FaZe said, “But I will tell you one thing. Yo, [Kamala Harris], stop hitting my team, you and the Secret Service, to do a stream. I am not doing a stream with any politicians, bro. Yo, Secret Service, stop hitting my f—king team. I’m not doing any stream, bro. Stop.”
He obviously isn’t a supporter of Kamala Harris as he doesn’t even know how to pronounce her name.
