Another well-known singer is adopting Satanism in their latest single.
This instance involves rapper and R&B singer Doja Cat, whose music video for her new track “Paint the Town Red” prominently displays demonic imagery, including blood, demons, and the artist embracing a character that resembles the Grim Reaper.
Watch (WARNING: The following video and social media posts contain content that some viewers may find disturbing):
By Sunday morning Eastern Time, the disturbing video had garnered at least 3.1 million views on YouTube.
Doja Cat’s Instagram posts have sparked controversy lately also due to their inclusion of demonic imagery, including a red-painted figure and a horned beast.
It’s anything but subtle… a little “too” obvious, really. And sorry, Doja, you’re on the late train, it’s already been done. It’s been done multiple times, in fact, with the figure in all red, the demons, and the satanic rituals. The satanic demon-theme is pretty played out already.
At this point, if these “artists” want to be “different” and even “shocking”, they should consider doing a Heaven-theme.
The concern lies in the fact that Doja Cat’s audience predominantly consists of impressionable young fans. These youngsters are more susceptible to imitating the conduct they observe in their beloved celebrities. The message being conveyed to these children is deeply troubling.
Certain visuals portray the singer herself adorned with horns, engaging in a sensuous dance with a horned male figure. This imagery seems to imply that it is acceptable to embrace the devil and malevolent forces if it leads to fame and worldly recognition. This sentiment is further echoed in the lyrics, including the line, “Mm, she a devil.”
Again, not very subtle.
Parents need to be diligent in overseeing the content their children are exposed to, in order to ensure that they are shielded from encountering this type of garbage.
