The Federalist discovered through a source that the Pittsburgh Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) office had independently verified numerous details outlined in the FD-1023 memo. This memo alleged that then-Vice President Joe Biden accepted a bribe from an executive of a Ukrainian energy company that employed his son. Agents from the Pittsburgh office communicated their findings and confirmed many aspects of the bribery form to the Delaware office.
The Pittsburgh FBI was able to obtain the travel records of the confidential human source mentioned in the memo, which verified that the source had indeed traveled to the specified locations during the relevant timeframe. Additionally, the FBI reportedly obtained supporting evidence from a third party, confirming that the source had met with an individual closely connected to Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company that employed Joe Biden’s son and was alleged to have paid a bribe to the former Vice President.
The Pittsburgh office’s primary role was to provide a “clearing-house function,” ensuring that any “potential disinformation” related to Ukraine was carefully assessed during the intake process. Their focus was on evaluating sources and their credibility before passing the investigation to another office. However, the responsibility for issuing subpoenas, gathering witness testimonies, and presenting evidence to a grand jury was squarely placed on the Delaware office.
The Delaware office, under the leadership of David Weiss, reportedly ignored the memo’s existence and concealed the fact that the Pittsburgh office had verified certain aspects of it. Regrettably, this information was kept hidden from the whistleblowers, and the memo’s existence remained a secret within the office.
In addition, Weiss’s assistant deliberately excluded IRS agents who were actively investigating Hunter Biden from the meeting where the Pittsburgh office shared its findings about the bribery memo. The IRS agents further revealed that certain portions of the Hunter Biden laptop were concealed from them, and they were prohibited from taking any actions that might establish a connection between Joe Biden and his son’s business affairs.
Breaking Digest reported that, according to New York Post reporter Miranda Devine, Hunter Biden’s former business associate Devon Archer will testify to the House Oversight Committee that Hunter Biden had his father Joe Biden join meetings with his foreign business contacts on at least two dozen occasions.
Archer will also confirm to lawmakers that Joe Biden is indeed the person referred to as the “Big Guy.”
The House Oversight Committee tweeted, “In at least a dozen instances, Hunter put his father, then VP, on speakerphone with his overseas business partners. In one instance with Biden associate Devon Archer, two Burisma executives explicitly asked Hunter, ‘Can you ring your dad?'”
At the very least, Joe Biden lied through his teeth when he denied any knowledge of his son’s business affairs.
