On Friday, the DOJ made public a heavily redacted version of the probable cause affidavit used to justify the storming of Trump’s Florida residence.
20 out of the 32 pages are either fully or partially redacted. Even their reasons for the redactions are redacted.
President Trump blasted the FBI on Friday, calling them “political hacks and thugs”:
“The political Hacks and Thugs had no right under the Presidential Records Act to storm Mar-a-Lago and steal everything in sight, including Passports and privileged documents,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They even broke into my safe with a safecracker – Can you believe? This Act was created for a very good reason, and it works. We are right now living in a Lawless Country, that just so happens to be, also, a Failing Nation!”
