British rock and pop singer-songwriter Rod Stewart said in an interview that his son had collapsed at a football game and was rushed to the hospital following a suspected heart attack.
The singer, 77, recalled his son going ‘blue and unconscious’ while playing for his Young Hoops Under-12s team.
Stewart said his son, Aiden, collapsed while playing for his Young Hoops Under-12s team.
“We thought my boy had a heart attack,” Rod said in an interview with FourFourTwo magazine.
It was later revealed that his son experienced a “panic attack” instead of a heart attack.
“He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down. It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack. The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad,” he said.
From Evening Standard:
The father of eight welcomed his youngest, Aiden, with his current wife Penny Lancaster, who he also shares son Alastair, 16, with.
Stewart had his first child, Sara Streeter, aged 17 with his then-girlfriend Susannah Boffey. The pair gave Sara up for adoption and she was raised by her adoptive parents, Gerald and Evelyn Thubron.
The musician is also dad to Kimberly, 43, and Sean, 42, who are from his first marriage to actress, Alana Stewart, 77, while his daughter Ruby, 35, is from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 63.
He also welcomed two children, Ruby, 30, and Liam, 28, with model ex Rachel Hunter.
Last week, Stewart announced the death of his brother Bob, two months after the loss of his other brother, Don.
Hopefully, for Aiden’s sake, they’ll consider getting a second opinion because you don’t “go blue” with a panic attack. If anything, your skin will flush. Neither is it common for an 11-year-old to even have a panic attack, in the first place.
It stands to reason that if Stewart feels that strongly about the COVID-19 vaccine, his son was likely fully vaccinated.
