Oversight Chairman, Rep. James Comer, announced that he has already contacted the Secret Service for a briefing and called on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to appear before the committee.
I have already contacted the Secret Service for a briefing and am also calling on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to appear for a hearing. The Oversight Committee will send a formal invitation soon.
My prayers are with President Trump and the victims of the assassination attempt at today’s rally in Pennsylvania. I thank the brave Secret Service members who put their lives at risk to protect President Trump and for the American patriots in the audience who helped others who were hurt. Political violence in all forms is unamerican and unacceptable. There are many questions and Americans demand answers.

Breaking Digest previously reported that video footage and photos from the rally clearly show two Secret Service counter sniper agents standing watch on the rooftop directly adjacent to where the shooter fired from.
Additionally, an eyewitness claims that several people saw the shooter crawling on the roof of a nearby building before Trump was shot. The individual was reportedly armed with a rifle.
Witnesses alerted the Secret Service, but no action was taken until after the shooting started.
Many social media users are calling for the Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to resign immediately and be thoroughly investigated.
