On Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia introduced a resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Democrat squad member and leader of the House “Hamas caucus” for engaging in repeated “antisemitic activity” and “sympathizing with terrorist organizations,” and “leading an insurrection at the United States Capitol complex.”
During her presentation on the House floor, Greene outlined a series of charges against Representative Tlaib, including statements sympathizing with and advocating for terrorist organizations, expressing hostility toward Israel, and obstructing the official business of the United States Congress. The resolution covers events from 2019 to the present, seeking to provide a comprehensive view of Tlaib’s history of anti-American and anti-Semitic behavior.
One of the allegations made by Greene dates back to May 2019, where she claims that Tlaib celebrated the Holocaust and stated that she “felt a calming feeling when thinking about the genocide of millions of Jews.” Additionally, in 2020, Tlaib retweeted a post with the caption “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” Greene points out that this slogan has been adopted by Hamas and calls for the elimination of Israel and the death of all Jews.

Greene underscored Tlaib’s continued criticism of Israel, specifically citing a September 2022 statement where Tlaib, as a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, expressed her disdain for the country, saying, “you cannot claim to hold progressive values yet back Israel’s apartheid government.”
Tlaib refuses to denounce the terrorist group Hamas.
Real America’s Voice news’ Ben Bergquam confronted Tlaib recently, asking her if she would denounce Hamas. In response, she yelled at him and called the Capitol police on him for asking her a question.

The resolution also brings attention to a recent event on October 18, 2023, where Tlaib led an insurrection at the United States Capitol Complex. Per Greene, this event endangered members of Congress, their staff, and visitors by shutting down elevators, stairwells, and obstructing the official proceedings in both the House and the Senate.
Breaking Digest previously reported that a mob of pro-Hamas leftists entered the US Capitol on Wednesday, attempting to pressure lawmakers into calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The anti-Israel mob briefly occupied the rotunda, screaming in opposition to Israel and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Based on the standards established by Democrats and the “J6 Unselect Committee,” storming the Capitol is considered an insurrection, and those involved should face long prison sentences, or in some cases, be shot or beaten to death by Capitol police.

During her speech, Greene said that the insurrection was orchestrated by the Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization the Anti-Defamation League has categorized as a “radical anti-Israel activist group.” She also brought attention to the involvement of individuals affiliated with the Southern Poverty Law Center, a far-left nonprofit organization. Additionally, Greene pointed out that several participants in the Capitol insurrection were part of a group messaging chat known as Global Intifada, a term in Arabic that denotes violent uprisings.
