It appears Kathy Griffin’s Twitter account may be permanently banned.
Elon Musk warned users that those who engage in impersonation and don’t clearly specify “parody” would be permanently suspended.
“Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended” Elon Musk tweeted on Sunday.
“Previously, we issued a warning before suspension, but now that we are rolling out widespread verification, there will be no warning.” Musk said.
“This will be clearly identified as a condition for signing up to Twitter Blue.”, he added.
Kathy Griffin impersonated Elon Musk and got banned.
