During an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures, Peter Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute and author of Secret Empires, said Joe Biden had used a secret cell phone while serving as vice president. Schweizer claimed that the phone in question was a global device funded by Hunter Biden’s business firm.
“What is the line of communications between Hunter Biden and his business partners and Joe Biden when he’s Vice President of the United States? It’s not the government phone. It’s not Joe Biden’s personal phone. We know from the laptop that Hunter Biden’s business paid for a private phone line that Joe Biden used while he was vice president,” Schweizer explained.
“It was from AT&T. It was $300 a month. It was a global phone where you could access somebody anywhere around the world,” he added.
“We shared that phone number and account information with the people over at the House Oversight Committee.”
“My hope is that the House Oversight Committee will subpoena those records,” he continued.
“I think it will give an indication of how tight the communication was and that may be the phone for example that the Ukrainian, the Burisma executive, might have used in this allegation that he talked to Joe Biden in recorded conversations,” he said.
Schweizer also elaborated on the connection between certain payments made to the Bidens and their association with the spy apparatus of the Chinese Communist government.
Watch:
According to the House Oversight Committee, certain members of the Biden family had reportedly received over $10 million from foreign entities.
In a report released by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), it was revealed that Biden family members used over 20 shell companies to hide the transactions.
CBS News reported:
After reviewing thousands of records subpoenaed from four banks, the House Oversight Committee said in an interim report that some Biden family members, associates and their companies received more than $10 million from foreign entities, including payments made during and after President Joe Biden’s vice presidency. But the White House countered that GOP investigators could not point to a “single Joe Biden policy” that was unduly influenced.
The 36-page interim GOP report, released by Oversight Committee chair James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, accused some Biden family members and associates of using a “complicated network” of more than 20 companies, mostly LLCs formed when Mr. Biden was vice president, and used “incremental payments over time” to “conceal large financial transactions.”
“From a historical standpoint, we’ve never seen a presidential family receive these sums of money from adversaries around the world,” Comer said.
