Hundreds of supporters welcomed President Trump back to Florida as he made his way to the state in anticipation of his upcoming court appearance. Along the streets of Southern Florida, supporters gathered, enthusiastically cheering and waving signs as his motorcade passed by.
This high-profile return to Florida serves as a prelude to Trump’s impending court appearance in Miami, where he is scheduled to attend an initial hearing in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s political “boxes hoax” case against him in which he now faces 37 felony counts.
The hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday at the Wilkie D. Ferguson U.S. Courthouse, situated in downtown Miami. Trump will appear at the federal courthouse for formal booking and processing prior to his hearing, presided over by Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman, not Judge Aileen Cannon.
The procedure will involve fingerprinting, but it is unlikely that Trump will be handcuffed or required to take a mugshot, given his low flight risk. As the courthouse adheres to a no-camera policy, the proceedings will not be televised. Additionally, to ensure privacy, Trump’s entrance into the courthouse may be concealed from public view, potentially through an underground garage connected to the building.
In the videos below, Trump supporters can be heard chanting: “We Love Trump!”, “Let’s Go Brandon!” and “USA!”
