On Thursday night, Capitol Police officers arrested Gold Star father Steve Nikoui, whose son, Marine Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui, was killed in the terrorist attack on Abbey Gate at Kabul Airport.
On August 21, 2021, during Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, suicide bomber Abdul Rehman killed 173 Afghan civilians and 13 American servicemen and women at Kabul Airport.
The Afghan civilians were attempting to flee the triumphant Taliban, who had seized control of Kabul following Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from the country. It marked one of the most humiliating retreats by the United States in history.
Steve Nikoui was promptly arrested and placed in handcuffs by Capitol security Thursday night after he heckled Biden about the attack during his State of the Union address.
Nikoui interrupted Joe Biden as he was telling one of the many lies, shouting, “United States Marines!” and “Abbey Gate!”, among other things.
Nikoui was reportedly charged with a misdemeanor for the outburst.
Nikoui was invited as a guest of Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL).

He was arrested because he cried out to @JoeBiden to remember his son.

Matthew Foldi with The Spectator later released a video showing Steve Nikoui receiving a hero’s welcome after his release by Capitol police.
