President Trump held a Save America rally in Robstown, Texas Saturday night for Republicans running for office in the November election. The huge crowd was fired up, chanting “We love Trump!”, “USA!” and “Let’s go Brandon!”
In the midst of Trump’s speech as he was talking about the sham January 6th Committee and turncoat Liz Cheney, the crowd broke into the National Anthem, singing the first verse of the Star Spangled Banner in full.
The singing started at 9 p.m. EDT, the same time the January 6 prisoners sing the national anthem every night.
It started with just a few but after a few seconds, thousands were standing and singing.
After singing the National Anthem the crowd followed it up by chanting USA!
Excerpt from the Washingtonian on prison life for J6ers:
“Most of a Sixer’s existence goes down in isolation—the cells on Charlie Two Bravo are singles. Each day, they get a five-and-a-half-hour window of “rec,” or time outside the cell. One day it’s from 9 am to 2:30 pm, then they wait 25 and a half hours for the next day’s rec, starting at 4. Sixers on that rotation get to take part in a cherished ritual: singing the national anthem in unison at 9 pm. When they get to the lyric “That our flag was,” they shout the last two words, “STILL THERE!””

The Washington Examiner had these details to add:
The audience at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Texas broke out into singing the national anthem Saturday night.
While Trump harped on the Jan. 6 committee’s investigation, supporters packed into the venue at Robstown gave him pause as a chorus got louder with a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
Trump, wearing one of his red “Make America Great Again” hats, smiled and clapped as the crowd ended with the “Home of the brave” line and began cheering loudly.
After a round of “USA” chants, Trump again spoke into the microphone saying, “Wow that’s so beautiful. You know when this whole big group stood up, I said, ‘Oh we have protesters.’ And you know what? They are protesting. They are protesting what’s taking place in our country, and it’s so bad, and so wrong.”
Liberals don’t understand this kind of patriotism and love for one’s country so, naturally, some responded by attacking President Trump and lying through their teeth.
A liberal Austin journalist reported the amazing moment this way, “Audience at Trump rally spontaneously starts singing the anthem. Trump seems a little peeved, actually, looks around quietly and waits. Notably does not sing or mouth the words along with them”
Another liberal activist was upset at the crowd for singing the Star Spangled Banner, “I generally try not to share Trump content anymore, but this is more about the audience of his supporters. When Trump brings up the insurrection on January 6th, the crowd starts singing the national anthem and gets to their feet.”
Ben Berquam posted a 360 video of the massive crowd as Trump took the stage.
“Before the #FakeNews lies about it again, here’s the HUGE crowd at the Robstown, TX #TrumpRally!”
January 6 defendant Treniss Evans spoke to Real America’s Voice after the rally and said he started singing the anthem in solidarity with his fellow defendants who have been held without trial, some for 18 months and counting. He said he had been working since Wednesday to make it happen.
